SCARLETT Johansson’s boyfriend hosted today’s Emmy Awards — but she stole the show with this daring red dress.

Emmy Awards 2018: Gold Carpet Best And Worst Dressed

TELEVISION’S brightest stars walked the red carpet for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards held at LA’s Microsoft Theatre today.

Saturday Night Live comedians Michael Che and Colin Jost host the ceremony, with shows like Game of Thrones, Barry and The Marvellous Mrs Maisel among the biggest winners.

Movie star Scarlett Johansson was there to support Emmys host and boyfriend Jost, and just about stole the show herself:

An early highlight of the red (actually more of a creamy gold) carpet: Black-ish star Jenifer Lewis, who’s turned up in joggers, leggings and a jumper. This is one entertainment industry veteran who clearly knows these nights can be looooong, and dressed accordingly.

Of course, there was in fact a political element to Lewis’ choice of attire. With Nike facing controversy for featuring controversial kneeling quarterback Colin Kaepernick in its latest campaign, Lewis’ outfit was a clear show of support for the company:
