Inside the ARIAs after party: What went down after Australia’s 2014 music awards?
IT was the hottest bash in town last night, the official ARIAs after party held at Marquee in Sydney. And, thanks to snap-happy A-listers, we have the inside scoop.
THE official after party of the ARIA Awards is always a pretty big deal.
But unless you’re a top-selling Aussie artist, industry exec, or willing to shell out the big bucks ($500 apparently), it’s unlikely that you’re going to get a bait.

Luckily, those who did have VIP access to the hottest bash in town at The Star’s Marquee last night made sure they documented the entire evening on social media.
Here are the #humblebrag highlights.
ARIA Award winners Sheppard posted this pic: “What the actual?!!!! We are thrilled to have won an #ARIA for Best Group! Thank you for your support.”
Justice Crew's John Pearce shared this pearler: “Congratulations Molly Meldrum!! Hall of fame yeah.
John Pearce also had a moment with One Direction’s Niall Horan. Not sure either of them look thrilled to be there though.
“The only one of the all the 1d boys hanging out! The man!! @samson_jc #justicecrew #onedirection,” he wrote.
Does this mean the rest of the boys shunned the after party?
Funny man Chris Lilley and DJ Havana Brown hung out. The Aussie DJ shared this selfie, posting: “This guy!!! @ChrisLilley #LOVE #WeAreSoQuiche #Jaime #PrivateSchoolGirl #ChrisLilley #ARIAs #AriaAwards @aria_official.”
Hilltop Hoods celebrated their ARIA win with their entourage. The Aussie hip-hop group took home Best Urban release.
Aussie DJ duo The Faders had a quick outfit change before performing at the ceremony.
Calum Hood of 5SOS took his doting mum to the star-studded party.
“Thanks for voting for ur asses off!! You and us lads have an arias song of the year!! Mum and I will drink to that!”
Even retired league star and television personality Beau Ryan couldn’t resist getting a selfie with the one and only Harry Styles.
Kyle Sandilands and his girlfriend Imogen Anthony were a sight for sore eyes. The shock jock’s 22-year-old girlfriend shared the below pic, along with the caption: “Stay Classy #ARIAS”.
Guy Sebastian was king of the selfies this year.
Sheppard, 5SOS, Delta Goodrem and Scott Tweedie all partied on together.
Delta Goodrem got in on the action, posting: “Yep! That's me singing along to @onedirection about to force @taylor_henders0n to get up and dance with me #goodtimes #ARIAs xx".
TV presenter Scott Tweedie took a quick snap with Goodrem before taking to the stage to present an award.
Delts then shared a selfie with ARIA Award winner Kasey Chambers.
Channel [V] Australia host Carissa Walford promised to look after one of Sia’s gongs for her after presenting it to the absent singer on the night. “Congrats Sia, I'll look after it,” she posted.
Next mission, get a snap with the 5SOS boys. Tick.
Earlier in the day, Walford mucked around on the red carpet with model Montana Cox.
She probably didn’t make an appearance at the after party, but Katy Perry had some fun with the One Direction boys and their diehard fans on the red carpet.
