AUSTRALIAN actress Abbie Cornish is the latest celebrity to be targeted by a death hoax online - with a Facebook page titled 'R.I.P Abbie Cornish' attracting almost 1 million 'likes'

The actress has responded on her own Facebook page, saying the story is "Amazing" and "Dead scarey (sic)".
Her management also confirmed she is alive and well, and has told her fans to "stop believing what you see on the internet".
Cornish is one of many stars who have been victims of a death hoax, with Morgan Freeman, Justin Bieber, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Springer and Jon Bon Jovi targeted over recent years.
Most laugh off the claims, but Jeff Goldblum took the hoax one step further.
After the 'Jurassic Park' actor watched Richard Wilkins report his death live on the Today Show in 2009, Goldblum decided to write and perform his own eulogy, which was broadcast on comedy show "The Colbert Report".
