The best Boxing Day travel and flight deals revealed

Domestic flights from $39 a pop, Asia fares from $343 return and UK flights from $1289 return, that's just a snapshot of what's on sale for Boxing Day.

Boxing Day. It's the most wonderful time of the year for shoppers. It's a chance to snatch up some real bargains as stores clear their shelves of seasonal stock. 

For travellers, it's also an excellent chance to get on top of your 2025 holiday planning.

If you've got plans to dust off your passport next year, Flight Centre's Boxing Day sale has you covered. In it are flights to Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket and Bali from $343 return on Scoot. Seats to China have also taken a massive tumble, starting from $510 return on China Southern Airlines while flights to the UK have been slashed even further, starting at $1289 return to London on China Southern Airlines (previously $1313 return).

Australian airlines haven't snubbed Boxing Day either, with three of them ditching the dollars on their hottest destinations. Qantas' 72-hour deal features fares from $109 each way all across Australia. (PS - if you want to save that much more, Skyscanner has them on sale for a few bucks less).

Virgin Australia is hot on its heels with domestic flights from $49 each way and international seats from $425 return and Jetstar is bringing up cheap seats from $39 one-way across Australia with a few international destinations sprinkled in (think Vanuatu and Christchurch) from $169 each way.

Today, we're also loving Antler's up to 50 per cent off sitewide deal. That's up to half off everything from suitcases and weekenders to packing cubes and luggage tags. As if in response, American Tourister has also whipped out up to 50 per cent off off selected luggage while Myer has joined in the fun putting forward 40 per cent off all luggage.

Finally, like clockwork, Luxury Escapes is reprising its Best Of deal (which personally we've been waiting all year for). Basically they've brought back all their best selling packages. Think five-nights at the all-inclusive Ayodya Resort Bali from $1799 per room, five nights at Movenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali from $1599 per room and five-nights at SO/ Maldives from $5999 per villa.
