Sometimes if you need something done right, you’re better off doing it yourself. And if unwrapping a Dyson vacuum or hair dryer is on your wishlist this year, this year’s Boxing Day sales have you covered.

This year most of the best Dyson deals are direct from Dyson website, with up to half price on selected items – including the Dyson Cyclone V8 Absolute Vacuum which has dropped from $1299 to just $699. One fan describes it as “simply great”, while another says “it’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and has incredible suction power”.

Looking for a wet dry vacuum? The Dyson V15s Detect Submarine Complete is similarly $600 off (now $1049, down from $1649).
