Salivating for delicious deals and convenient kitchen gadgets? Don’t worry, Amazon Prime Day is finally back and there’s a huge buffet of fresh deals from Instant Brands, Sunbeam, Breville, Tefal, Ninja and more ready to be snapped up.

As one of the biggest sales events of the year, Prime Day is one of the best opportunities to score a bargain on a wide range of appliances and brand names.

In the kitchen, coffee lovers can bag the popular De’Longhi Magnifica S Automatic Coffee Machine for just $499 – an epic $800 off its usual $1299 price tag. The De’Longhi Eletta Explore is similarly $700 off, and features a touch screen control panel with several preset recipes for hot and cold beverages.

This year, Amazon Prime Day 2023 is happening between July 11 and July 12. The online event started today at 12.01am and will close up at 11.59pm (AEST) the 12th.

But to enjoy the sales, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member if you want to score any of the deals.

WHAT IS AMAZON PRIME DAY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Amazon Prime Day was initially held as a 24-hour sales event in the US to celebrate Amazon’s 20th year anniversary. Now, it’s a huge global multi-day sales event offering mega savings on everything from beauty to electronics.

Amazon called Prime Day “an annual deal event exclusively for Prime members, delivering two days of special savings on tons of items”.

WHAT IS AMAZON PRIME?

The Amazon Prime Day sales are well worth participating in, but to do so, you’ll need an Amazon Prime membership.

It costs $9.99 per month (or $79 per year if you opt for the annual plan) – but you can get a 30-day free trial when you first sign up.

As a Prime member you don’t just get access to the Prime Day sale — there’s also free two-day domestic delivery, free standard international delivery on eligible orders over $49, and access to Amazon Music, Prime Reading and Twitch Prime.

Prime members also get access to exclusive deals and shopping events as well as early access to lightning deals.
