Yes, it’s known for its huge discounts on tech, but Amazon Prime Day is also a great opportunity to save big on everyday items like booze, food and home supplies.

While many shoppers will be on the hunt for huge savings on top-notch tech and appliances this Amazon Prime Day, there’s also plenty of home essentials you can save on during the shopping event.

From food and drink pantry must-haves to baby products and pet supplies, all the discounts could add up to save you a whole lot of money (and a trip to the supermarket) – so we’ve rounded up all the best deals on offer. For forward-thinkers, Amazon are also running a promotion where members will receive a $5 credit when they buy an Amazon.com.au giftcard to the value of $100 or over. Just make sure you get in quick because it’s only availabe for the first 10,000 Prime members who cash in on the deal.

The mega sales event will begin at 12AM AEST on Monday, 21 June with local deals running for 48 hours until 11:59PM AEST on Tuesday, 22 June.

The highly-anticipated sales event will begin at 12am AEST on Monday, 21 June with local deals running for 48 hours until 11:59pm AEST on Tuesday, 22 June.

Deals from the UK and US will be available through Amazon Global Store until 5pm AEST on Wednesday, 23 June, giving Australian Prime members access to 65 hours of deals.
