Now is the time to add the Afterpay Day sales to the very top of your shopping calendar.

Just as popular as Black Friday and Boxing Day, the Afterpay Day sales offer you the chance to snag big discounts  - we're talking up to 70 per cent off - on brands like Dyson, The Iconic, Adore Beauty and Under Armour.

While it doesn't officially kick off until 8 am Thursday, March 20, a bunch of retailers have decided to start the party early - and we're not complaining. You'll have four days to shop, with the mega sales event wrapping up on Sunday, March 23.

Despite the name, you actually don’t need to use Afterpay’s ‘buy now pay later’ service at checkout to take part in the discounts.

As a seasoned deals writer for many years, I like to think I know a thing or two about these insane sale events.

What deals have really caught my attention? If you're in need of a fashion refresh, adidas has launched up to 40 per cent off. Score the bestselling Gazelle sneakers for 40 per cent off while the cult Sambas are also down 30 per cent.

Nab a new Dyson vacuum with savings of up to $600 or if you're in the market for a new mattress, Sleep Republic has slashed prices off their award-winning mattresses while Aussie favourite Koala is offering 25 per cent off sitewide.
