WHEN IS BLACK FRIDAY AND HOW LONG DO THE SALES LAST?

Black Friday fell on November 25 this year. It as then followed by the Cyber Weekend, which sees even more deals and discounts offered from midnight on Black Friday until midnight the following Monday – Cyber Monday (November 28).

Though some retailers will offer the same sales over the four day period, many will run their biggest deals on Black Friday itself and then offer slightly different (and often lower) discounts from midnight on Black Friday until the end of the sales event.

IS BLACK FRIDAY ONLY ONLINE?

Some stores may run exclusive discounts, but the majority of retailers offer the same Black Friday deals both online and in-store. As items can be quick to sell out over the sales period though (and parking can be a nightmare), we do recommend shopping online where possible to avoid missing out.

For items you may want to see in person, such as TVs and laptops, we suggest getting to your store of choice early, rather than leaving your shopping until later in the day.
