Right now Louie loves the mesh window because it means he can sit up and watch me drive, plus enjoy the aircon too. There’s loads of pockets for storage, the non-slip backing also restricts movement so he’s not sliding around the back of the car. And I also really appreciate the side flaps – they zip up and keep both my car protected and Louie tucked away.

When I say this Shark Cordless Vacuum is the perfect vacuum for pet parents, I truly mean it – it has quite literally changed my life as a dog owner.
It has a really powerful suction and effortlessly sucks up any fur and crumbs in one go, so I didn’t have to run over the same spot multiple times which was incredibly satisfying (goodbye fur!) and it has an Anti-Allergen Filtration System that uses a HEPA filter to trap all the nasties like dust, dander and allergens.
It’s cordless and rechargeable, easy to empty, and can easily transform into a handheld vacuum (which has been helpful for cleaning Pomi and Terra’s beds, inside of cars and hard-to-reach places).
Plus, it has headlights so you can easily see the dust and debris on the floors and a self-cleaning brush roll that doesn’t get tangled with hair.

I will say though, it can be a little loud – so do keep that in mind and it’s a little more top-heavy than I was expecting.

A lickmat is one of my favourite boredom busters for my dogs – all you need to do is smear their favourite soft and liquid treats like yoghurt, wet food, puree or peanut butter and freeze it. Once it’s frozen, your dog will have the time of their life licking it clean – which is mentally stimulating and reduces their boredom and anxiety!
It’s designed with a raised pattern to make it a bit more pleasurable and prolongs the amount of time taken to clean it.

Okay, this isn’t a necessity but I love adding bone broth to Pomi and Terra’s food.
This 100 per cent natural grass-fed beef bone broth by FurFresh is what we personally use as it’s made from human grade Australian and New Zealand grass-fed beef leg bones that is slow cooked to preserve the important nutrients.
Bone broth is great for hydrating your dogs’ dry food as well as encouraging picky pups to eat and drink water. The benefits of bone broth include aiding in joint and bone health, digestion and gut health, and promoting healthy fur, skin and teeth.
Again, this isn’t really a need as I have friends with pets that don’t consume bone broth and they’re perfectly fine, however, my dogs love this stuff!
