The team have also jumped on the hottest new shoes of the season – from the burgundy red Adidas Gazelles that are currently on sale (run, don’t walk!) to these super affordable silver ballet flats from Cotton On.

Emma Lewisham Skin Reset Serum, $150 at Emma Lewisham
“I’ve seen so much hype about this serum I thought, surely it can’t be that good? Boy was I wrong. This serum is nothing short of incredible and has absolutely transformed my skin in the last four weeks I’ve been using it — hello, glass skin! It’s the perfect serum all-rounder working to help keep skin pigmentation under control while being both brightening and hydrating. With skin-loving ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide and plant stem cell extracts I’m obsessed with the results from this serum.” – Hannah Paine, news.com.au checkout Editor
Adidas Originals Gazelle – Unisex, $119 (down from $170) at THE ICONIC
“I’m going to be honest here, these scared me at first. As someone who primarily sticks to a beige, white, grey, denim wardrobe – wearing something red was a concept I couldn’t quite wrap my head around. I was influenced by our resident cool girl in the office (Philippa), who said I had enough neutral coloured shoes and it was time to ‘step’ out of my comfort zone. Since the moment they’ve arrived I’ve been obsessed. Red is the colour of the moment but these sneakers perfectly ‘toe’ the line between fashion trend and classic. Funnily enough my beige wardrobe actually makes these shoes much more wearable – as they literally go with everything in my closet.” – Claudia Coy, eCommerce Social Media Producer
Glasshouse Desert Divine Candle, $59.95 at Glasshouse Fragrances
“One thing you should know about me is I love a candle. At any given time, there’s always one burning away in my home – I love the ambience it creates, I love the subtle scent wafting through my living room, and I love the all round spa-like vibe lighting a candle gives. We all know that Glasshouse make excellent candles and I’m utterly obsessed with their new limited edition Desert Divine candle. If you love a floral fragrance, this is for you. The Green Tea and Aloe Water scent is a delight – it’s light and refreshing, strong but not overpowering. Plus, the yellow hue of the candle holder is gorgeous.” – Melody Teh, news.com.au checkout Deputy Editor
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, $28 at Myer
“The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is one of my repurchased items and I don’t think I’ve had another makeup remover that’s worked just as effectively. Even notoriously hard to remove waterproof eye products like the Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara and HEROINE MAKE by KISSME Smooth Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner easily slide off. By the time I follow up with a cleanser, it’s like most (if not all) of my makeup and sunscreen is already gone. It’s perfect for getting ‘squeaky clean’ without leaving your skin with a greasy or tight, dry feel.” – Tahnee-Jae Lopez-Vito, Shopping Writer
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Gel, $47 at Sephora
“I’ve been a long time fan of Brow Freeze. I have extremely thick eyebrows that are difficult to tame – I can’t tell you how many brow products I’ve bought that simply didn’t work for me. I love Anastasia Beverly Hills’s original Brow Freeze but I have to admit I find the pot and spoolie brush a bit time consuming to use in the morning before work when I’m running out the door. I was really excited to try the new gel brush formula and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype. Not only is it super easy to apply, but it gives you that perfect brushed-up brows look that lasts all day, even during the humid weather we’ve been having in Sydney recently. I’m blown away by how well it works, it’s definitely a must-have in my beauty bag moving forward.” – Hannah Paine, news.com.au checkout Editor
Fressko Camino 12oz Reusable Coffee Cup, $39.95 at THE ICONIC
“As someone who can’t function properly without a good dose of caffeine in the morning (how very millennial of me, I know), I hate it when I get distracted by morning work tasks and end up with a lukewarm brew. So, for me, this Made By Fressko Camino Cup is a little lifesaver. It’s stainless steel inner and click back lid keep my drink piping hot for ages, while the outside remains cool to the touch. It also fits under most coffee machines and in car cup holders, and has never spilt a drop on me. Plus, I love the huge range of colour options and the fact that I’m no longer throwing out a takeaway cup every time I need a pick-me-up.” – Lauren Chaplin, Consumer Technology Reporter
Sleep Calming Pillow Mist, $35 at The Body Shop
“I’m the kind of person who can take hours to get to sleep. In between my mind racing around what I have to get done tomorrow (why won’t you shut up!?) and wanting that much more time to myself (I’m a toddler mum, iykyk) finding my groove and nodding off can take ages but I’ve found this mist is a wonderful way for me to wind down. It’s packed with all the good calming stuff like vetiver and lavender oil and is completely vegan. I simply spray it on my pillow before I go to bed and it promotes a beautiful environment to fall asleep in. The scent doesn’t stick around long which I’m okay with (and my husband is more than okay with) but if you need it to there’s a whole series of calming products you can get like a body cream and hair and body wash.” – Stephanie Yip, eCommerce Travel Writer
Rubi Gia Square Ballet, $39.99 at Cotton On
“I found these shoes when researching for my best Eras Tour Outfits article and immediately fell in love. Ballet flats are definitely having a moment and the silver colourway adds the perfect amount of fun. They’re also surprisingly comfortable! If I’m being honest I didn’t have high hopes for the comfort levels but I’m honestly blown away. Plus, at only $40 these are a true steal.” – Philippa Tonkin, Shopping Writer
Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment, $42 at Sephora
“I am super picky with my lip balms – it can’t be too thick as I don’t like the ‘greasy’ feeling on my lips but it has to be super hydrating and moisturising as I have dry AF lips. I’ve tried a lot of lip balms in my quest for the perfect lip balm and call off the search guys, I’ve found it. This Fresh Super Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment is all I want – it gives intensive, long-lasting nourishment to my lips, it’s a smooth, buttery texture that’s easily applied (aka not thick), a lovely and subtle scent, and luxe packaging with a screw applicator. Although it’s pricier than other lip balms, it lasts for ages and it’s worth every penny.” – Melody Teh, news.com.au checkout Deputy Editor
Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil, $30.22 (down from $32) at Amazon
“As a dedicated double cleanser, I’ve used a lot of different cleansing oils and balms on the market. I’ve specifically heard tonnes about this one over on TikTok, and sitting at an affordable $30, I thought why not give it a go. It’s a lightweight yet super nourishing oil that easily removes my makeup and sunscreen, without leaving a weird film on my skin or leaving it feeling dry and tight. This is a great buy, especially if you’re looking to start double cleansing without breaking the bank.” – Marina Tatas, Shopping Writer
Lust Minerals Rejuvenation Eye Cream, $52 at Lust Minerals
“I’ll be honest, I’ve never really subscribed to the eye cream thing. Even when the fine lines, bags and wrinkles started creeping in I just worked with a straight up face moisturiser. But since getting this eye cream it’s become the highlight of my beauty routine. It’s lightweight, quick and easy to apply, and has a cooling metal tip that feels super refreshing on my skin. With all natural ingredients including brightening juveneye CLR and vitamin C rich pumpkin seed oil, my skin feels so much brighter and healthier since using it.” – Stephanie Yip, eCommerce Travel Writer
American Tourister Starvibe Beauty Case*, $91 (down from $130) at American Tourister
“If your travel toiletries bag isn’t cutting it, I can highly recommend this brilliant option from trusted travel brand American Tourister. This hard case, zip-up toiletries bag can hold 14 litres of volume which sounds like a lot because it is. On a recent family holiday it held my makeup bag, shampoo and conditioner, sunscreen, insect repellent, micellar water, tooth paste, toothbrushes, hairbrush, body moisturiser, soap and more. The waterproof zipped pouch within ensures no messy spills occur in transit and the hard case makes it really easy to transport. It’s accompanied me on a few trips and I now refuse to go away without it in tow.” – Edwina Carr Barraclough, Senior Manager eCommerce Content and Strategy
Neuw Jonesy Singlet, $69.96 at THE ICONIC
“If I could only describe my wardrobe in one word it would be ‘basic’ – but in the best way possible. I like basic pieces but with an elevated twist – that’s where this tank comes in. The material is super thick and quite stiff which makes it look much more expensive than what it actually is. It’s the perfect basic top to pair with a fancy bottom (glittery skirt, patterned pants) or even just your everyday jeans. I restock my white and black version every couple of years … considering how often I wear these, the fact that I only need to buy them every couple of years is a real testimony to their quality.” – Claudia Coy, eCommerce Social Media Producer
Arlo Essential 2K Outdoor Security Camera*, $159 at Amazon
“I have a front doorbell camera which I love so it was high time I got a camera for my backyard for that added peace of mind – especially since I get a lot of foot traffic along my back lane. Having had it up for a month now I’ve found the Arlo to be extremely intuitive. It’s able to detect people, animals and general motion. Yes, it can be quite sensitive and was often pinging me over the fact that my laundry was blowing in the wind, but thankfully this can be toned down. I loved how easy it was to set up with the Arlo Secure app and how the feed and controls can be shared with each family member. You can also personalise it to Arm Away when you’re out, Arm Home when you’re at home but still want to keep tabs on your yard, or Standby when you want it to, well, shut up. Without a paid subscription you can get live viewing and basic notifications, though if you want high quality recordings and viewing history you need to subscribe. There’s a free trial to see if this suits you otherwise you can get the basic/lite version free. And yes, in case you’re wondering, it’s quite addictive looking at what your family members are getting up to when you’re not at home!” – Stephanie Yip, eCommerce Travel Writer
