Subscription services for women have been around for a long time now. While it all started with the beauty subscription box craze, these days there are genius sign up options for everything from health and wellness products to fashion.
A good subscription will add something to your life, ongoing. From helping you get organised or allowing you to road-test new products for a fraction of their usual cost price, gone are the days when subscription boxes and programs were filled with unnecessary stuff you end up binning.
Here, we’ve rounded up our favourite subscriptions across a myriad of interest areas.
BEST OVERALL SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR WOMEN
GoodnessMe uses a team of nutritionists to develop each of their monthly boxes. Each month you’ll recieve one atomiser with 30 days of perfume in it (they allocate four sprays per day), and you get to choose from over 1,000 designer brands like Jimmy Choo. Shipping is free and you can cancel at any time. Want more? You can sign up to recieve up to three different atomisers per month.
Cost: ScentBox works on both quantity of atomisers per month, and labels. Their Standard subscription costs $21.23 per month, and gets you access to 600+ designer fragrances from labels like Carolina Herrera and Paco Rabanne. Premium is $27.88 per month and gets you an extra 250 premium designer labels like Amouage and Maison Francis Kurkdijan, and Platinum is $39.86 per month and adds another 150 platinum brands like Creed and Electimuss. BEST FASHION SUBSCRIPTIONS
When Hollywood stylist Rachel Zoe is behind your product, you know it’s going to be fashionable. The Curateur is kind of like a membership program - you pay per month to access huge discounts (think up to 60 per cent off designer labels), plus your membership cost goes toward your shopping, so it’s like free money if you buy something monthly. The Curateur also has a seasonal curation box that features an edit of fashion and beauty items selected by Rachel Zoe.
Cost: Membership is $9.99USD per month, which currently works out at around $13.29AUD. However, for Australian customers, you have to add on a $30 shipping rate per order.
BEST ALCOHOL SUBSCRIPTION BOXES
Beer Cartel Beer Club, from $39.99
Beer is definitely not just for the boys. If you’re a fan of craft beers and trying new tinnies, the Beer Cartel has you covered. There are three different subscriptions on offer, with the cheapest featuring three limited release or new beers, plus three favourites from Beer Cartel. The most expensive features 12 beers that are all new or limited release. It’s a great gift for yourself if you love experimenting with types, or for someone in your life.

This is such a treat of a subscription box! Each month, you’ll recieve a full sized bottle of gin (often exclusive and not available in Australia) plus all the trimmings - think mixers, garnish, a matched sweet and savoury snack, and a little gift. It’s for gin lovers but also just anyone who enjoys a post-work beverage, really.
Cost: There is just one price for this membership - $99 per month. You can choose, however, to have your gin delivered monthly, every two months or every three months, which is great if you won’t get through a bottle in 30 days.
