We’ve all been there. It’s a few weeks out from Christmas, you realise you haven’t even skimmed the surface of completing your shopping and your calendar is now full up until January.

Enter: online shopping.

When you’re caught in a last-minute situation, there’s really no other option than to complete everything you need to do via retailers who deliver up until mid-December. Luckily, there are actually a fair few who will deliver in time for you to be able to wrap the presents and have them under the tree by the 25th.

Here, we’ve collated all the info about delivery date cut-offs to make it easier for you to decide where to shop. Keep in mind, COVID-19 has caused some slight delays, due to an increased number of orders and limited flights. At time of publication, these dates are as accurate as possible.

  • WA and NT: 8 December.

  • Metropolitan areas in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, ACT, SA and TAS: 21 December for standard delivery or 23 December for express delivery.
  • Other areas in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, ACT, SA and TAS: 12 December for standard delivery or 14 December for express delivery.
  • NT: 10 December.
