It’s safe to say we all want ways to update our home on a budget.
But keeping up to date with the latest trends can be expensive, which is why it’s no surprise that BIG W’s new homewares range has gone viral for all the right reasons.
The discount department store is giving Kmart a run for it’s money and launched its own range of luxe for less home furniture and accessories.
Inspired by Scandinavian style, the Sunrise Valley range features plenty of autumnal tones and patterns — as well as the fabric of the moment, bouclé.
At $109 BIG W’s Milan Teddy Occasional Chair costs a fraction of the price of other bouclé chairs, with some brands selling them for upwards of $500 (it’s also available in green velvet).
The chair has already developed a cult following on TikTok, with @lifeof_georgia describing it as the “perfect office chair” in a video that’s been viewed more than 136,000 times.
“I finally just got my hands on the Kmart bouclé chair and ottoman, and you bet I need this chair now too,” one person wrote.
Others said it was the “perfect makeup chair too” and was “a must” to buy.
“Been looking for something like this for ages,” one commented.
@lifeof_georgia also shared another video of her styling BIG W’s Mirabella Ayla Ribbed Table Lamp and its House & Home Sunrise Valley Boucle Throw in beige in another video that’s been viewed 285,000 times.
“Oh my god that lamp,” one person commented.
“Wow I need that lamp now,” another wrote.
