I was, at first, not keen on sleeping with a sheet mask on my face- I find them distracting enough to watch Netflix with, let alone sleep with as a side-sleeper. But this hydrating collagen mask was totally worth it- and it barely even disrupted my sleep.
I applied the mask 45 minutes before I went to bed to allow it to properly adhere to my face and use the eye cut-out sections as extra layers beneath my eyes for a little hydration boost. This sheet mask is unlike any I’ve tried, as it has more of a jelly texture than a paper sheet, so it does tear easily if you are handling it with long nails, but it also feels unbelievably divine on the skin. I used the mask during a hot night, so the cooling gel sensation on my skin was very welcome while I slept, and once it had adhered to my skin, I didn’t even need to be worried about it sticking to my pillow when I was on my side. (Though I would recommend using this with a silk pillowcase.)
When I woke up, the mask was transparent and thin on my skin, feeling more like a sheet mask than at any other point in the process. Upon peeling it off, I was genuinely so impressed to see my skin looking plump, smooth and incredibly hydrated. This gave my skin a glow for the entire day and gave me the satisfaction of knowing I was meeting my skin’s hydration needs amid a hot summer.
