Charlie Sheen did not marry his porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi

YESTERDAY Charlie Sheen tweeted that he had married his porn star girlfriend. Today, he said it was a joke. Here's why he did it.

You can breathe a sigh of relief ladies, Charlie Sheen did NOT get married yesterday.

The Anger Management star told TMZ that he was "joking" when he tweeted yesterday that he had married his porn star girlfriend.

"I wanted to give Denise [Richards] a stroke!!!" Sheen said to TMZ.

According to Radar Online, the 'S' in the tweet referred to Rossi whose nickname is Scottie.

The 48-year-old and his much younger partner certainly haven't been shy about showing their affection for each other over the past few months.

In late November the couple were spotted kissing on a yacht in Mexico and a month later Sheen reportedly splashed out and bought Rossi a Mercedes Benz.

"Charlie always buys his girlfriends new cars when they begin dating, or gives them access to one of the vehicles in his fleet," an insider told Radar Online in December.

"Charlie bought Brett the Mercedes. It's not in Brett's name, though. It's in Charlie's. He never puts the cars in his girlfriend's name."

Charlie Sheen has five children and has previously been married to Donna Peele, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller.

So far his longest marriage has been three years.
