No dirty talk or G-strings for exotic NY dancers

A FORMER dancer at the Penthouse Executive Club entered a class action complaint against bosses of the Hell's Kitchen joint for lost wages, the New York Post reported today.

A FORMER dancer at the Penthouse Executive Club entered a class action complaint against bosses of the Hell's Kitchen joint for lost wages, the New York Post reported today.

The suit, filed yesterday in Manhattan federal court, did not specify damages but charged the club shortchanged at least 100 female workers by holding onto the 20 per cent premium visitors were charged to buy the 'Executive Money' used to tip dancers.

The club's management allegedly kept a portion of the tips when they were exchanged for cash at the end of the night.

Ex-Penthouse girl Leslie Liwanag, 31, said the exotic establishment also banned G-strings and "profane language with a customer," which prevented the girls from talking dirty.

Liwanag, who worked at the club from 2005 until last year, also claimed it swindled the showgirls out of minimum wage and overtime pay.

"Dancing at an exotic nightclub is not an easy job, and the labour laws apply to these workers just as they apply to everyone else," said Justin Swartz, one of her lawyers.

A woman answering the phone at the Penthouse Executive Club declined to comment.

Another ex-employee, Lourdes Garcia, sued the dance hall earlier this month after claiming she was sexually harassed by both male and female bosses.
