Actress Kim Novak’s appearance shocks at 2014 Academy Awards

VETERAN actress Kim Novak caused a stir with her appearance at the Academy Awards, the 81-year-old appearing remarkably, uh, youthful.

Kim Novak’s appearance at today’s Academy Awards came as a shock to many viewers.

VETERAN Hollywood actress Kim Novak took to the stage alongside Matthew McConaughey to present the awards for best animated films at today’s ceremony.

However, it was the 81-year-old Vertigo star’s rather ‘youthful’ appearance that got everyone talking.

A prolific film star in the 1950s and ‘60s, Novak hasn’t acted on film since 1991, so has shunned the limelight for much of the past 25 years. Her first appearance in front of a large audience for some time certainly seemed to raise a few eyebrows:
