Gallen reveals fight hit list before retirement

Paul Gallen has called out Sonny Bill Williams, Sam Burgess and UFC star Robert Whittaker in a bid to finish his boxing career with a bang.
Gallen has declared 2022 will be the final year of his athletic career, which started as a teenager making his NRL debut in 2001.
The 40-year-old has built an impressive boxing resume since first stepping into the ring as a professional in 2014, with his only loss coming against Justis Huni.
The self-confessed prize fighter is chasing “one or two” more pay days before he hangs up the gloves for good.

I’m 40 years of age now, so I haven’t got a lot left in me, but a couple of fights this year will be good.
Gallen is open to fighting retired NRL great Burgess. The former Souths player has never had a professional fight, but the bout would still generate enormous interest.
The next name Gallen rattled off was UFC champion Whittaker, who also doesn’t have a professional boxing match to his name.
Gallen saved the best name for last, calling out former NZ heavyweight boxing champ and dual international footballer Williams.
