Piastri cryptic post sparks F1 debut rumours

Australian young gun Oscar Piastri has dropped another hint about his future in Formula 1, sharing a cryptic Instagram post.
The reigning Formula 2 champion, who is yet to make his F1 debut, is currently serving as a reserve and test driver for Alpine.
The 21-year-old will need to bide his time at the team given both Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon are still contracted until 2023 and 2024 respectively.
However, according to The Race, Piastri is “closing in” on a move to Williams in 2023.
Canada’s Nicholas Latifi has struggled at Williams with the 26-year-old’s contract expiring at the end of the year.
