durant drops trade bombshell on Brooklyn

The NBA free agency period is almost here and already there is unbelievable drama, with Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant demanding out.
ESPN reported that Nets GM Sean Marks is working with Durant and his agent Rich Kleiman on finding a trade destination.
Title contenders the Phoenix Suns are reportedly his preferred landing spot, according to Yahoo Sports, while the Miami Heat are another team on his wish list.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, though, reported the Nets will move Durant “where they can get the best deal”.
With four years on his contract, there’s no shortage of teams willing to unload assets for Durant.

Durant signed a four-year, $194 million contract extension with the Nets last off-season, meaning any team that signs Durant will be assured of having him until 2026.
Fellow Nets superstar Kyrie Irving is also hoping to be traded away from Brooklyn, but found no suitors willing to come close to matching his $36 million wage this season.
However, the Lakers were the most interested team - and ESPN expert Brian Windhorst has now stated they could target a massive double deal for both Irving and Durant.
