broncos great comes to defence of walters

Brisbane legend Gorden Tallis has questioned Tyson Gamble after the Broncos playmaker made controversial comments about his coach Kevin Walters.
Gamble claimed halfback Adam Reynolds is the “go to” man at the club and is the one running the show in Brisbane, not Walters.
That prompted Reynolds to call his halves partner “out of line” and the captain confirmed he’d spoken to Gamble who was “apologetic” towards Walters.
Reynolds also defended his coach and emphasised that everything he delivers to the playing group comes through Walters.
Tallis argued it was the halfback’s job to coach the team on the field, and questioned the comments from Gamble.
There’s no doubt in what Adam Reynolds said, that everything Kevvie tells him he reinforces. I played with Joey (Andrew Johns), I played with Alf (Langer), I played with Kevvie, they’re coaching you all the time…

Matty Johns also defended how Walters uses Reynolds, saying it’s why the Broncos brought the former Rabbitohs halfback to Brisbane.
If I’m a coach, I want my players going to my halfback for stuff, because the coach talks to the halfback and the halfback takes it onto the field.
