Page Six reports that the lingerie giant won't be inviting the Aussie Angel to walk in next year's fashion show or appear in any of its upcoming catalogues after publicly dissing the country music darling at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on November 13.

VS chief marketing officer, Edward Razek has now denied there is any truth behind the reports, telling Us Weekly: "There is no truth to the rumours that Jessica Hart has been fired or that she will no longer work with the brand. As you will see, she was a great part of our show and we look forward to continuing to work with her."

When asked by a WWD reporter at the fashion show's afterparty if Swift, who headlined the event, could cut it as a VS model, Hart answered with a resounding "no."

"I think, you know what, God bless her heart. I think she's great," said Hart. "But I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."

The 27-year-old beauty backtracked five days later, telling Us Weekly, "I adore Taylor Swift and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show … She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night."

Razek also stepped in, telling the magazine that Hart's comments were misinterpreted.

"I have personally been in contact with Jessica Hart and she said she was 'wildly misinterpreted' and that she thought Taylor was 'amazing,'" Mr Razek said.

"She is stunned that anyone would think differently. And that's something we can all agree on."

While Hart is not an official Victoria's Secret Angel - unlike Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, newly anointed Karlie Kloss and others - she is strongly aligned with the brand's diffusion line, VS Pink.

It seems unlikely that Hart will be dumped in the near future, given her rise to international stardom within the modelling industry in the last year. The GQ Woman of the Year posted this pic on her Instagram account today, hard at work on a photoshoot for Love magazine.
