The lowest cut-off scores for more than 800 courses can be revealed, with some institutions taking students with ATAR as low as 40.
It comes as more than 47,000 year 12 students today found out if they secured entry to their dream course in the first round of university and TAFE offers.
The score with the highest cut-off score is for La Trobe University honours in dental science (99.9), followed by biomedicine/dental surgery and science/dental surgery at the University of Melbourne (99.85).
The next highest are a swag of University of Melbourne courses, including arts/law, science/law and commerce/law (99.8).
Victoria University’s highest is physiotherapy with a cut-off of 98.5 and Monash University’s highest is radiotherapy/medical imaging with 98.15. Deakin University’s highest is medical imaging on 94.6 and ACU’s highest is psychology honours on 91.5
A number of courses are designated N/P, or not published, because they do not use the ATAR in selection.
Others are L/N, which stands for low number, as less than five offers are issued so the selection score is not published to protect the privacy of applicants.
Cut-off scores go as low as 40 for courses such as legal practice (paralegal) at RMIT and diploma of teacher education at La Trobe University Bendigo.
Students who missed out on a first-round offer will have plenty of options for further study in Victoria, including further entrance rounds, alternative entrance pathways and Free TAFE courses.
