A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead after a stabbing in Seaford last night.

A woman has been stabbed to death in Seaford last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Whitby Way, in Melbourne’s southeast, about 4.40pm on Tuesday evening.
Police said a woman in her 40s was found with stab wounds and was treated by paramedics but was unable to be saved.
A 44-year-old Seaford man was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder.
He will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A roadblock is in place at both ends of Whitby Way as detectives continue their investigation.
