Homicide squad detectives are searching for homeless man Benjamin McCartin in relation to a stabbing murder in the CBD.
Images of the 40-year-old were released by police on Tuesday in connection to the killing of Ricky Rowlands, 46, near the Ibis Styles Kingsgate Hotel on Saturday night.
Police urge anyone who sees McCartin not to approach him and call triple-0 immediately.

He is the third person to be connected to the fatal stabbing.
Candice Harper, 43, was on Monday charged with Mr Rowlands’ murder.
Ms Harper made no application for bail and will next face court in February.
A 42-year-old Melbourne man believed to have been involved in the incident remains in hospital under police guard.
He was found with serious injuries after falling from the King St hotel the same night.
The hotel is being used to accommodate homeless people during the pandemic.
