Remains found at 1000 Steps in Dandenong Ranges

Remains have been found at landmark Melbourne tourist destination 1000 Steps.

The remains were fond on the Rambler’s Track section.

Police are on scene at an iconic landmark in the Dandenong Ranges following the discovery of remains.

Police and SES workers are currently at the 1000 Steps walking track in Tremont where it is believed remains have been found. It is not yet clear if they are human.

The remains were located on Rambler’s Track.

The 1000 Steps is one of Melbourne’s most famous outdoor walking tracks.
