Police hunt for registered sex offender Alexander Harrison in Latrobe Valley

Police have issued a warrant for a registered sex offender known to frequent the Latrobe Valley — and urged the public to be on the lookout.

Police are asking for the public’s help to locate Alexander Harrison.

Police are hunting a registered sex offender known to frequent the Latrobe Valley.

A Victoria Police statement said Alexander Harrison, 34, failed to report for an annual interview about his “reporting obligations”.

Harrison is also alleged to have moved out of his registered home without authorities’ knowledge.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Harrison is known to frequent the Moe and Morwell areas, police said.

Investigators have released an image of Harrison in the hope members of the public can help find him.

He is described as 185cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have asked anyone who sees him to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
