A “large-scale” drug lab has been busted in what police allege to be party drug syndicate.
The lab was found at an address on Swaran Close, in Rowville, after Victoria Police officers executed a search warrant just after 7.30am yesterday.
Detectives from the Croydon Divisional Response Unit allegedly seized ecstasy/MDMA, ketamine, cocaine, cash, designer watches and equipment at the property.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
It is believed the bust was connected to a “drug manufacturing” and “trafficking” operation, Victoria Police spokeswoman Belinda Batty said.
“(The man) has been charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs and possessing the proceeds of crime,” she said.
