Man slashed to the head in Ascot Vale fight
A stabbing in Ascot Vale has left a man with lacerations to his head after a fight broke out between four people on a busy street.

A man was slashed in the head in a vicious attack on a busy road in Ascot Vale on Wednesday night.
Police were called to reports of an assault on Union Rd, in Melbourne’s inner northwest, about 6.40pm.
There were four men involved in the clash, but by the time police arrived three had run from the scene.
The injured man, in his 20s, was found to have a laceration to his head. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A roadblock was temporarily in place along Union Rd.
The investigation is ongoing.
