Man shot at after allegedly attempting to drive at officers
A driver was shot at after he allegedly drove at police officers at an Altona Meadows service station, fleeing down residential streets before he was finally apprehended.

Police have shot at a man, who allegedly drove towards them before leading authorities on a pursuit.
Public Order Response Team officers approached a man after he pulled into an Altona Meadows service station bay just after 1.20am.
The driver allegedly ignored a police direction to turn off his car and drove towards police.
Victoria Police said in a statement that an approaching officers “had to take evasive action and discharged his firearm”.
No one was injured.
The car was pursued for a short time in nearby residential streets before the 64-year-old driver turned into Harrison Court and was arrested.
The Altona Meadows man is currently under police guard in hospital due to a medical condition.
Professional Standards Command have been notified, as is standard when a police firearm is discharged.
