Man arrested, charged over allegedly ramming police car in Fitzroy
A driver has been arrested in Melbourne’s CBD and charged with allegedly ramming a police car in Fitzroy and breaching stay-at-home orders while on bail.

A man who allegedly rammed his car into a police car in Fitzroy is facing a long list of charges, including breaching stay-at-home orders.
Victoria Police said the incident happened in Holden St about 7.20pm on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old driver was arrested at 4.40pm on Wednesday at a Spencer St hotel.
He was charged with damaging an emergency service vehicle by reckless driving, failing to stop after an accident, driving while suspended, driving an unregistered vehicle and handling stolen goods.
The man was also fined $1652 for breach of the Chief Health Officer directions.
It’s alleged he committed the offences while on bail.
He is due to front the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
