Police are investigating a staff member at a northeastern private school who allegedly asked a student to buy drugs for him, the Herald Sun can reveal.
The Loyola College employee is under investigation over his dealings with a Year 12 student. The 17-year-old student told police that the staff member asked him to obtain MDMA drugs for him when he met him at a 7-Eleven store in Watsonia earlier this month.
The male student’s police statement alleges the man told him he wanted the drug for the six-week “iso break”.
The meeting is not only in violation of school policy but also Melbourne lockdown provisions. The student told police the man also asked for his phone number, gave him a personal email address, spoke to him about psychedelic drugs and said he was in a psychedelic cult.
The statement claims the staff member left the school grounds with the boy on another occasion and threatened him.
The Herald Sun is not suggesting the allegations are true, only that they are the subject of a police investigation.
