Finks bikies arrested in raids across Melbourne’s south east

Four Finks bikies have been arrested after multiple raids were executed in suburbs including Frankston and Cranbourne West as police probe a violent carjacking.

Four men have been arrested following police raids targeting the Finks bikie gang.

Guns, drugs and cash were seized after the raids across Melbourne’s southeast this morning.

Police executed the warrants as part of a probe into illicit firearms possession and an aggravated carjacking in Shaxton Circle, Frankston, on February 19.

The men arrested were members of the Finks bikie gang.

During that incident a group of men allegedly bashed two victims before stealing their vehicles.

Detectives from the bikie busting Echo Taskforce, Frankston Crime Investigation Unit, Mornington Divisional Response Unit and Southern Metro Regional Crime Team raided properties in Hallam, Pakenham, Frankston and Berwick, as well as an OMCG clubhouse in Cranbourne West.

A loaded sawn-off shotgun was among the items seized by police.

The four men arrested during the raids are expected to appear in court tonight.

Two men aged 25, a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old are currently in police custody.

The men are expected to be charged with offences including assault, aggravated carjacking, possession of prohibited firearms, drug and theft related matters

All four are set to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tonight.
