A member of one of Melbourne’s most notorious families, who is accused of aggravated carjacking and breaching parole, will remain behind bars after his bail was struck out.

A member of one of Melbourne’s most notorious families is behind bars accused of a violent carjacking.
Bassam Tiba faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with aggravated carjacking and breaching parole.
His bail application was struck out and he will remain in prison until his committal hearing on February 17, 2021.
Tiba is being investigated by officers from the Armed Crime Squad.
Last year he allegedly wrote to a friend his world has been turned “upside down” after he was raided by Echo Taskforce detectives.
