Detectives investigating a bikie extortion have released pictures of a man they want to speak to.
It comes after a Hells Angels clubhouse was raided and two men arrested over the alleged extortion earlier this week.
Detectives from the bikie-busting Echo Taskforce executed a search warrant at the gang’s headquarters in Lipton Dr, Thomastown, on Tuesday.
Ammunition and a number of other items were seized during the raid.
Detectives from the Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit have now released images of a third man they want to speak to about an alleged serious assault in Shepparton late last year.
The man was seen hanging around Ashendon St and Vaughan St shortly after 9pm on November 15.
Around the same time two men allegedly forced entry into an Ashendon St business armed with handguns.
Once inside the pair allegedly threatened to kill the victim, a 50-year-old Shepparton man, and demanded a large sum of money.
They allegedly fled empty-handed. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
“Investigators are keen to identify the man as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
“Anyone who recognises the man or who may have seen him in the area at the time is urged to come forward and speak with police.”
The man is caucasian, with a solid build and dark hair.
He was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black hoodie with a white logo across the chest, a dark coloured cross-body bag and dark shoes.
