Frighteningly, the man has earphones in and is not wearing the helmet attached to the e-scooter, which can be seen dangling from the handlebar.
It comes days after the Victorian Government extended the controversial e-scooter trial for a further six months, starting on April 5.
Melburnians will be allowed continued access and use of private e-scooters under strict rules, including the compulsory use of a helmet and banning travel on roads with a speed limit above 60km/h.
Data from the initial trial, shared by the Victorian Government, showed that people hire e-scooters most commonly for leisure, social outings or commuting.
