Two more people have been charged in relation to the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Pasawm Lyhym near Sunshine Station earlier this month.
Pasawm died near Sunshine Station after allegedly being attacked with a machete when a group of at least three teenagers set upon him on May 18.
Two other boys were injured during the ordeal, one was taken to hospital and the other was treated at the scene.
An 18-year-old boy from Burnside Heights and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on Monday and charged with an array of offences, including possessing a prohibited weapon, affray and conduct endangering serious injury.
The 18-year-old appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was granted bail. He is set to appear again at a later date.
The other boy faced a children’s court on Monday and was also bailed to appear later.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Friday afternoon as homicide investigators probe what they believe to be a violent fight that erupted between students from two different schools.
CCTV footage was earlier released that captured a knife-wielding man running near Sunshine Station in the moments after the Melbourne teenager was fatally stabbed.
What allegedly sparked the tension between the two school groups remains unclear.
