Thieves smash through Balwyn business to snatch $50k worth of cigarettes
Damning footage has captured the moment a group of alleged thieves smashed their way into a Balwyn business before snatching more than $50,000 worth of cigarettes in a wheelie bin.

Dramatic footage has caught the moment a group of alleged thieves broke into a shop and filled a wheelie bin with more than $50,000 worth of cigarettes in Melbourne’s northeast.
CCTV captured from a business in Balwyn showed a hooded man – almost looking directly at the camera – allegedly using a crowbar to break into the business.
A group of three different men could then be seen inside the business allegedly tossing boxes of cigarettes into a bin.
The alleged incident took place between 7pm on November 13 and 7am on November 14.
The group allegedly also caused significant damage to the inside of the business and destroyed several shelves.
Images of the alleged thieves have been released online.
The first man was described as being caucasian in appearance, with a light-coloured hooded-jumper, tracksuit pants and light coloured runners.
The second man was described as being caucasian in appearance and was wearing a grey Puma hooded-jumper and blue denim shorts.
The third man was described as being caucasian in appearance and was wearing a light-coloured baseball cap, a black hooded-jumper with a white motif on the left sleeve, camouflage patterned shorts and black and white runners.
The fourth man was described as being caucasian in appearance, and was wearing a navy jacket, black tracksuit pants and burgundy shoes.
It comes as about $50,000 worth of handbags were allegedly stolen from a Balwyn business on November 13 in an unrelated incident.
