Three teenagers have been arrested in a dramatic swoop on a stolen car at Brighton.
Police rushed to the scene on Thursday after a number of people contacted emergency services about suspicious behaviour on Church St.
They were allegedly on board a vehicle stolen from Elsternwick earlier in the day.
The car was seen in New St, Brighton, and tracked to Church St where it was intercepted by two unmarked police units.
“The stolen car struck a vehicle trying to flee before all five occupants fled on foot,” a Victoria Police statement said.
Two 16-year-boys and a 16-year-old girl were arrested near the scene and are being interviewed.
Two other people who were in the car have not been found yet.
Police said no one was injured during the incident.
