Trio charged following alleged brawl outside country pub in Yea
Victoria Police say officers faced a “highly dynamic scene” following an alleged fight between a group of people outside a pub in the state’s north.

Two men and a woman have been charged following a fight outside a pub in the state’s north.
Police were called to High St in Yea after an alleged brawl erupted between a group about 10.10pm on Friday.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers were “outnumbered” and “confronted” with a “highly dynamic scene” where OC spray was deployed.
“As police were attempting to offer aftercare, one of the men involved allegedly attempted to assault one of the officers by kicking out and punching,” she said.
“While police were attempting to subdue that man, a woman has allegedly jumped on the back of a police officer while the second man attempted to grab the officer’s firearm.”
A 27-year-old Yea woman and 29-year-old Taggerty man were charged with affray, assault police and fail to leave licenced premises.
A 26-year-old Glenburn man was charged with affray and fail to leave licenced premises.
They were all bailed to appear before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court in September.
