Shocking dashcam footage has emerged of a couple allegedly dodging police before crashing a stolen luxury car in an inner city Melbourne suburb.

The dramatic video, posted to social media, was filmed from inside a white Mercedes.

It showed the vehicle driving out of a car park in Parkville about 9am on Monday.

In the footage, a man and a woman can allegedly be heard planning their next move when police arrive at the scene.

An officer draws his weapon and demands for the pair to get out of the car.

“Get out of the f---ing car,” the officer yells.

The woman screams “go, go, go” and “go, baby, go” before the man allegedly speeds down a street.

He allegedly runs multiple red lights, dodges pedestrians and speeds on the wrong side of the road during the chase.

“How’s that for driving darling?” the man says.

“That was mad driving darling, that was wicked driving baby.”

“Honey, careful because they will get air patrol out,” the woman responds.

The pair talk about “ditching” the car in Prahran and getting on a tram.

“Darling, we’re not going to be able to drive it around, they’re tracking it,” the man yells.

The man drives around a corner and speeds down a road before he spots police in the distance.

He allegedly smashes into two cars, forcing the Mercedes’ airbags to go off before the couple flee the scene.

A 40-year-old Dandenong man was charged with reckless conduct endanger life, reckless conduct endanger serious injury, theft of motor vehicle, drive manner dangerous, drive while disqualified, careless driving and enter intersection on red traffic light.

He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on August 9.

A 28-year-old Dandenong woman was charged with theft of motor vehicle.

She was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on September 5.
