An accused Hells Angels chapter president has been charged after an alleged stolen tiny house bust at the bikie gang’s Alphington stronghold.

A 33-year-old Cranbourne North man, alleged to be a senior Hells Angels office-bearer, was arrested on Sunday in connection with an Echo Taskforce raid last week.

He was among three men arrested after the tiny house, allegedly stolen from a Campbellfield business in June, was found at the Angels’ Heidelberg Rd headquarters.

The VIPER Taskforce and members from the northwest and southern metro crime squads assisted with five raids at homes in Cranbourne North, Melbourne, Cranbourne South and Clyde, and a storage facility in Cranbourne West.

That man was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Police say a shotgun was found under the tiny home and that white powder, believed to be a drug of dependence, steroids and a signal jammer were seized from the man’s Cranbourne North home.

Members of the special operations group raided the Alphington chapter on Friday where they seized the mini house, valued at $70,000.

Police say it was in the process of being renovated and investigators believe it had been trucked onto the property.

Detective Inspector Mick Daly from the Echo task force said the home would have gathered attention when being transported to the bikie headquarters.

“Some effort has also gone into making the tiny house look quite established within the clubhouse area and it appeared people had been staying in the house,” he said.

“We’re keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the tiny house being transported, whether that’s back in June or at a later date. Police would also like to hear from anyone who has any other knowledge of the theft and who is involved.”

Meanwhile, 14 people linked to the Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Gang were also arrested on Friday as part of an investigation into illicit tobacco.

They seized half a million illicit smokes, valued at $500,000, one tonne of loose tobacco, 2000 vapes, $70,000 worth of gold and two batons during raids at several properties on Friday.

Warrants were carried out across 12 smoke shops at Wendouree, Ballan, Sebastopol, Ballarat, Norlane, Drysdale, Castlemaine, Bacchus Marsh, Fitzroy, Windsor and two West Melbourne joints.

Seven firearm prohibition order searches were also undertaken at Mount Waverley, Berwick, Craigieburn, Fraser Rise, Hillside, Tarneit and Corio.

Meth, cannabis, ecstasy, cocaine and prescription medication was also seized from a home in Mount Waverley, where a 32-year-old was hit with a range of drugs charges.

An imitation firearm was also located hidden inside a 28-year-old Craigieburn man’s home.
