An ugly brawl erupted during a soccer match at Keilor Park over the weekend.
A group of 10 people stormed onto the pitch just after 6pm on Saturday and started punching and violently assaulting players on the field.
One person, believed to be a teenage girl, was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Three others were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The soccer tournament, designed to be a family-friendly event, was held by the local community.
It is unclear what sparked this attack.
A police spokesperson said no arrests have been made and the exact circumstance surrounding the brawl is currently being investigated.
