The 23-year-old Sunbury man has been charged after he allegedly struck a group of pedestrians in a carpark at Sir Zelman Cowen Park, off Glenferrie Rd about 1.10am on Sunday.

“I wish to pass to the family his deepest condolences during this difficult time.”
The driver was remanded to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on October 14.
Initial police reports suggested there had been an illegal rave in the park, but they later confirmed the incident had occurred following a “gathering” in the park.
