A milk bar in Melbourne’s north has been burnt to the ground in the early hours of Saturday morning, as the city continues to be ravaged by arson attacks.

A milk bar in Meadow Heights was burned to the ground after a ute drove into it in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Melbourne has been recently ravaged by arson attacks as part of ongoing tobacco wars, with eight smoke shops torched within less than a week.
It is currently unknown whether this incident is related to Victoria’s tobacco trade fire attacks.
Emergency crews were called to the Taggerty Crescent convenience store around 4am last night.
The building was fully involved in fire and multiple explosions were heard.
It took firefighters 40 minutes to control the blaze which had totally consumed the building.
A crime scene has been established and police are treating the fire as suspicious, with its exact circumstances yet to be determined.
