A man has been arrested and police are investigating after the death of a man who was found injured in Brighton on Saturday night.

A man has been arrested after the death of a man in Brighton on Saturday night.

The yet-to-be-identified 83-year-old man was found injured on Foote St in Brighton about 8.30pm.

Emergency services attempted to save him but he died at the scene.

A man is assisting police with their inquiries but the investigation and exact circumstances surrounding the death remain ongoing.
