Man charged with murder over Broadmeadows death

A man has been charged with murder after the body of a man was found with stab wounds outside a house in Melbourne’s north.

Police charged a man with murder after a body was found in Warnock St, Broadmeadows.

A man has been charged with murder after a man was found allegedly stabbed to death outside a northern suburbs home on Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called to a property on Warnock St in Broadmeadows about 2pm on Tuesday where they found a man dead outside the home.

A 32-year-old man of no fixed address was found with critical stab wounds.

A 42-year-old man, from Broadmeadows, was swiftly arrested at the scene.

He has subsequently been charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Homicide squad investigators believe the two men were known to each other.

Police were earlier called to Bicknell Ct nearby following the grim discovery of four bodies on Tuesday morning.

The four were discovered by a relative and it is understood their deaths are not suspicious.

The two investigations are not believed to be linked.
