The jury in the murder trial of accused high country killer Greg Lynn has been discharged, moments before opening addresses were due to begin.
Justice Michael Croucher on Friday morning told a jury of 14 he was discharging them, after issues had arisen.
A new jury is expected to be empanelled on Monday morning before the trial, which is expected to run for between four and six weeks, begins.
Mr Lynn, 57, has pleaded not guilty to the murders of Russell Hill, 74, and Carol Clay, 73, who vanished in the Wonnangatta Valley in Victoria's alpine region in March 2020.
