Firebombed Toorak skin clinic owned by woman linked to deadly Bali shooting

The Toorak skin clinic which was set alight in an overnight firebombing is owned by a woman embroiled in the deadly Bali shootings last month, the Herald Sun can reveal.

The skin clinic which was damaged in an overnight firebombing is owned by a woman embroiled in the deadly Bali shootings last month.

Aesthetica Cosmetic Clinic on Toorak Rd was razed by fire about 11.15pm on Thursday night in a brazen arson attack caught on CCTV.

It is owned by Daniella Gourdeas, who recently escaped unharmed during the shooting death of a Melbourne man at a Badung villa in June.

Ms Gourdeas was at the holiday hotspot celebrating her sister’s birthday with her partner Sanar Ghanim.

Ms Gourdeas’ sister, Jazmyn, hid under the covers as the triggermen shot her husband, Zivan Radmanovic, killing him.

Daniella Gourdeas later gave a statement to police in Bali in which she described the gunfire ringing out just metres from her bed.

Sources have told the Herald Sun that the hit plot was motivated by a “rip off” in Australia, in which millions of dollars were taken from a crime syndicate.

Balinese authorities say they are working with federal police to establish the motivations to what was a planned murderous raid.

The Herald Sun has been told the survivors arrived back in Australia several weeks ago and were taking measures to protect themselves.

Daniella Gourdeas’ Toorak Rd skin clinic was on Thursday night razed by fire.

CCTV footage obtained by the Herald Sun shows a hooded man wearing hi-vis repeatedly smashing the store’s front window.

The accused arsonist then set the cosmetic joint alight as he fled toward Punt Rd.

Several cars continued driving along Toorak Rd just metres from the burning building while a woman, whose car was parked out the front, ran to her Volkswagen to move it.

Nobody was inside the clinic at the time of the blaze.

No arrests have been made.

Police say it was targeted and will examine the link to the Bali murder.

“Police believe the incident was targeted and will investigate any potential links to any other incidents,” a statement read.

“The investigation into the motive behind the incident remains ongoing.

“A crime scene has been established and an arson chemist is expected to attend the scene.”

Sanar Ghanim, who is the father of a child shared with Danielle Stephens – the daughter of Roberta Williams – was shot in the leg but escaped life threatening injuries.

Radmanovic, 32, was executed in the Bali villa, which is still being probed by Indonesian police.

Three Australian men remain in custody and could face the firing squad if convicted of premeditated murder.
